These are some photos from this first workshop introduction to scenic techniques used on stage sets. They learned the mixing of paint, creating wood grain, brick and granite. All of these techniques can also be used for your home and other artistic creations.
Everyone had a blast and I so enjoyed teaching these techniques.

(TEENS AND ADULTS)

This class will introduce students to the techniques used on stage sets. You will learn painting basic “forms” with lights and shadows; trompe l’oeil; and making patterns using stencils, templates and paint stamps. All of these techniques can also be used for your home and other artistic creations. Materials supplied. Students will take home their finished sample boards.

CREATING ART USING UNCONVENTIONAL MATERIALS
Two Sessions – First: Building Canvas Second: Finishing Paintings

In this class we will be using some theatrical techniques to create fine art. Building your own paintings; using lumber, Styrofoam, muslin, spackle, etc. This workshop will be offered in 2 parts. First building the canvas and the second will be to finish them, using any medium desired.

RECYCLE DVD’s & CD’s
(TEENS AND ADULTS)

Turn your old, scratched, bad DVD’s & CD’s into fun fine art. Also using additional recycled items along with some store bought products; hot glue, plaster cloth and paint.
This workshop will have some materials on hand, but encourages students to bring some of their own.
